Venue Site
Opito Bay is a sheltered bay at the eastern end of the Kerikeri inlet. In the summer it is a popular tourist beach, great for swimming and boating. In June there won't be too much going on there, but if the weather is nice the boat launching ramp will see some traffic.

Coming from the south
Take SH1 north through Kawakawa, Moerewa, and then turn onto SH10 at Pakaraka. Continue on SH10 past the Kerikeri roundabout, and through Waipapa. After Waipapa, take the next right into Kapiro Road. Continue down Kapiro Road for about 4.5km until you reach the turnoff for Opito Bay, Rangitane, Aroha Island on your left (Redcliffes Road). Follow the road all the way out to Opito Bay.

Coming from the north
Take SH10 towards Kerikeri. After you pass Kapiro Garage on your right, take the next left into Kapiro Road. (If you reach Waipapa you have gone too far!). Continue down Kapiro Road for about 4.5km until you reach the turnoff for Opito Bay, Rangitane, Aroha Island on your left (Redcliffes Road). Follow the road all the way out to Opito Bay.

Venue Facilities
Opito Bay has public conveniences at the western end (just at the bottom of the hill as you come to the Bay. There are no other facilities, shops or shelter at the Bay.
