Another day of wonderful weather for the finale of the 2022 Triple Crown, with a set of 2km technical races, each with 8 turns making for some great entertainment for the spectators on the beach! The women went first, and saw a great tussle at the front between Rosara Davis and Marlene Jackson, while Shirley Dryden and Trudy Lile traded places at every corner just behind. Next up was the mens fleet, and for once Scott Keon didn’t have everything his own way, as William Dunlop pipped him to the finish.

After a break it was round 2, and while Marlene maintained her dominance in the womens, Scott reclaimed the front in the mens, giving him and Will a first and second apiece, thus tying for top honours. A great way to end the weekend!
