Yep – one board. Just to keep things fun and fair, we ask that anyone coming to do all three events of the Triple Crown complete them all on the same board. If you need to change board then OK, but it’ll invalidate your results from that event going forward to the overall results.
So, if you only have one board, then it’s no drama at all. If you have several, then just consider that the board may be needed to compete in:
- Surf racing
- Downwind racing
- Flat water racing
- Short course (lots of turns) racing
So we’d suggest something reasonably all-round. However, you may choose to gamble that there won’t be any downwinding or surf racing, for example, and choose accordingly. Your call!
